URGENT!Brother Knights,
The other day I went to drop off clothes to Pinellas Hope and the Director Sheila Lopez asked for our Council's help. On July 10th she needs the Knights to cook and serve the 200 residents at Pinellas Hope. Ms. Lopez said she had the food but has to pull her people off the cooking line since she is going to have the media and 26 other visitors touring the facility. The visitors are Program Directors from around the State trying to address the same homelessness problem in their community.
I do realize that we already have the First Degree for Fr. Jacob Marie Hausman for Thursday, July 9 at 7:00 PM and now I'm asking for helpers for the day after. I have discussed the plead with Dave Derose and he and I will do the cooking but neither of us can be at the sight to serve the residents.
Is anyone out there available to be at Pinellas Hope at 5:15 PM on Friday, July 10th to be on the serving line?
We are Partnering with Linda Johnson and her Faith Formation group but I have no idea how many folks will be there from her group.
Please respond to me ASAP.

Congratulations Please congratulate and welcome 3 new Brother Knights, Irwin Prescott, Michael Bell, and Brian Murphy. They all completed their 1st Degree on June 26, 2009. The degree ceremony was attended by a large crowd of Brother Knights who enthusiastically supported a total of 26 new candidates and the charter of a new Council at Holy Cross Church. A big thanks to all who participated. |

Because of all of you and our Brother and Pastor Fr. John, our limited Tootsie Roll Drive was a success.We will be able to donate over $400 dollars to charity. |
